As a co-founder of a start-up (1996) biotechnology company that was acquired by a large multinational corporation in 2001, Mr. Gildea understands the issues facing the small technology company seeking to compete in the worldwide marketplace and the strategies that can lead such companies to success. With almost six years of experience in the legal department of a large multinational biotechnology company, Mr. Gildea also understands the strategies that can be employed by a more established company to successfully leverage a large intellectual property portfolio to create revenue as well as to establish and maintain market leadership of products and services.
Mr. Gildea is also an accomplished scientist and inventor, with many years of experience as a chemist in various biotechnology companies.
